Heat Meters

	SHM can supply and fit a wide range of Heat and Chilled Water meters.
	Kamstrup Multical 401 This meter is designed for domestic, office or light industrial use. It has an integral ultrasonic flow meter (flanged or threaded coupling) and Pt500 pocket temperature sensors. The readout unit can be fitted up to 1.5m from the flow meter if required. 	Kamstrup Multical 601 This meter is designed for use in district heating and/or cooling installations. It is a versatile, intelligent unit with an integral ultrasonic flow meter and a wide range of features including data logging, tariff control, PQ limiter, M-Bus interface and leak detection. 	Kamstrup Multical 801 This meter is a rugged panel-mounting unit sealed to IP67 and designed for use in industrial control and regulation systems. Typical installations would be CHP stations, district heating stations and exchange stations. It can be used with Pt100 or Pt500 temperature sensors and can interface to a wide variety of flow meters. It has a range of features including current and peak values, tariff registers, M-Bus interface and relay, pulse and analogue outputs and pulse inputs for electricity & water meters. Water Meters

To collect pulses from a water meter located in a meter pit, SHM can supply an RF Pulse Bridge which avoids the cost and inconvenience of running a cable out to the meter.

Water Meters

We can supply water meters for cold (up to 30 °C) or hot (up to 90 °C) water with a pulse output for connection to an Energy Monitoring System. There are separate models for vertical and horizontal pipework.

We can also supply flanged water meters.

Gas Meters

When counting gas meter pulses in an Energy Monitoring System, it is necessary to have an isolating barrier between the gas meter and the logging device. One way of doing this is to use an intrinsically-safe transmitter to provide an RF Pulse Bridge.

We supply a range of long-life maintenance-free diaphragm gas meters with pulse output.

Barrier Relays

To connect your gas meter to an EMS or BMS system, you will need a Gas Barrier Relay.

SHM can supply a mains-powered Gas Barrier Relay module that will provide the necessary safety isolation between meter pulse output and monitoring system input. Two channels are provided in each module.
